Job Summary:

Sells vehicles by understanding and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features; developing and qualifying buyers; closing sales. Must be results-driven with the ability to thrive in a competitive, team-based environment.

Responsibilities - Sales Consultant:

  • Greet customers coming in to the showroom and establish rapport
  • Communicate to discern the best vehicle for customer’s needs and budget
  • Provide professional product demonstrations and accompany on test drives
  • Respond promptly to internet customers
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all dealership products and services
  • Set appointments for customers to visit the store for test drives and presentations.
  • Utilize Social Channels to communicate with prospects and customers
  • Utilize Data Mining tools to attract new opportunities
  • Entice the online and phone prospects to visit the store and buy a car!

Qualificatiions/Requirements - Sales Consultant:

  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Extremely organized
  • Great attitude with a high-energy personality
  • Previous auto retail sales is not required
  • Other industry sales or customer service experience is a plus
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Must have outstanding phone skills and follow up
  • Applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
