Briggs Auto in Topeka, KS needs to hire Business Development Associates for their BDC Center. We will be looking for strong, results-driven candidates to fill these positions. Candidates must have a strong desire to succeed, be goal-oriented, and want to be a part of a winning team.

This position requires a high degree of professionalism with customers and our teams, excellent communications skills, and the ability to organize and multi-task to maximize your daily efficiency. Automotive knowledge is helpful but not required. Immediate training and ongoing support are provided.

This is a full-time position that requires the flexibility to work rotating schedules with some Saturdays.


BDC Associate - Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute customer communications via email, telephone and text
  • Outbound lead follow-up: Internet inquiries, un-sold traffic, lease renewals, etc.
  • Answer ALL incoming phone calls according to a proven, pre-set script, and schedule sales appointments
  • Obtain information from customers or prospects regarding vehicle of interest or special requests; document the details of each conversation by input of information into dealership database
  • Purify and update customer contact information and changes in dealership database
  • Contact current customer base on current marketing incentive

BDC Associate - Job Requirements:

  • Call Center/collections/customer service and/or sales and marketing experience preferred
  • Pleasant, engaging and professional phone manner
  • Strong PC and internet skills
  • Experience in hitting performance goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • No outbound phone call reluctance
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Willing to learn, and a drive to achieve
  • Strong work ethic and reliability is a must

Sales Consultant - Job Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and a clean driving record is required. Must be able to pass an MVR and background check.
  • At least one year of sales experience in any industry. We will train the right person.
  • Motivated with a strong desire to succeed!
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality.
  • Must dress professionally and be well groomed.
  • Must be aggressive in selling and possess a positive attitude.
